The Simón Bolívar United World College of Agriculture (SBUWC) is an international university institute of technology which offers an education in the areas of Agriculture and Rural Development.   Through a "Learning by Doing" approach, SBUWC teaches both the art and business of agricultural.   Students also participate in community based rural development projects, where the aim is to improve the quality of life and self-reliance process of the communities. As a member of the international movement and organisation United World Colleges (UWC), Simón Bolívar UWC of Agriculture’s mission is to promote understanding and cooperation between nations, allowing for the coexistence of young students, both of sexes, different countries and socio-cultural backgrounds.
